Was easy to use just a little confusing when switching between individuals. Letting the patient know you’ll be getting off the video chat was really the only issue. Letting the patient know to wait for the next provider to join. Other then that it was really easy to use.

I feel very fortunate that I was able to have TMS as a treatment option. I was able to be seen for "extended" therapy. I am using traditional therapy, medication, (used) EMDR and other methods for changes. The aforementioned has improved, but I felt as if it was my final chance to really see changes within myself. When I was essentially told that putting a magnet on my head could help, I though the same thing you are... "Is this electrotherapy of the 1700s and 1800s". Turns out it's slightly different. You aren't having convulsions from electricity, you aren't strapped to a table, you aren't talked to as if you're insane and you aren't going to be a shell of who you were.

I was all alone and homeless. I was living in my car with my cat, Lacey until my car was stolen from me. I ended up in a tent for 4 months until the snow covered my tent. I went to the Web with my heart in my hands. These folks took a lot of time with me. Treated me so nice. They didnt even judge me. They helped me with the deposit on a place to live and even sent me the paperwork for $1500 for furniture and stuff to set me up. I will always be grateful to them. Brenda Martin

In my time in Valdez, I have both experienced and heard from many people that they were so grateful to this exceptional team for their dedication to the community. The business is still growing and also offers red light therapy, among other treatments. Nia at the front desk is just so kind and is always working hard to schedule and take care of everyone who walks through the door. I truly recommend Sound Mental Health.

it changed me for the better and i was only there for 3 months although since i left it felt like my progress has slipped out of my hands now that i’m home, whatever you do don’t run away it’s not worth it.

I stayed for 6 months and it was my first residential treatment. While there were some small things being ironed out (understandable since they are only a couple years old), this was an incredibly place for me to unwind and put all the skills I’d learned from the many one-month inpatients I’d done in the past. They provide a small campus with residential buildings and a clinical building so you don’t get confined in a building for months, and they have weekly outings.

Very Friendly and Professional. Check into the emergency room 1st thing in the morning with abdominal pain. CT scan diagnosed Appendicitis. got me on the afternoon flight to Anchorage and had my appendix out at 0200 next morning.

Very impressive operation. Definitely the go-to place when you have dire need of food, clothing, shelter, encouragement, and a hand up. Wonderful resource, and they can even give you a ride.

I was extremely impressed with my visit. Check-in and the staff were quick and professional. Shingles was my diagnoses so I was not cured in only one day.

The intake process is a bit lengthy, like maybe around 5 or 6 hrs... so be prepared, but trust me... it is worth it. They give you your first dose the same day of intake and there's absolutely no discrimination here... you are treated with absolute respect. You can tell the staff there take your care very seriously when it comes down to your comfort and privacy. Everything at all angles I give a 5-star rating, especially with all the lives they've saved. You'll find nothing but love here.

I was sent here twice due to mental disorders and the treatment team aided my needs greatly. It was a good environment in a rough time and I felt immensely connected to fellow peers and staff members whom I miss dearly.
