Memorial Epworth Center operates a 50-bed psychiatric hospital, providing specialized care for adults and adolescents aged 13 and older. The center offers short-term stabilization and support for individuals experiencing psychiatric emergencies that cannot be safely managed in an outpatient setting.
During their stay, patients receive immediate intervention aimed at ensuring their safety and the safety of others. Before discharge, patients collaborate with staff to develop a personalized safety plan and a comprehensive discharge plan, which connects them to ongoing, less intensive services to help prevent future crises.
