I struggled with addiction all my life. House of Hope showed me a new way of living through 12 step recovery. The house hosts a safe environment for the suffering addict or alcoholic to be able to work on themselves and get down to the core of the disease. Also, upon graduation from the program you have the option to move into recovery housing of which there are none better in the state of Ohio. The rent is beyond reasonable, you are placed on job search until you obtain a job. Then during your stay as a recovery house tenant You participate in outpatient treatment, a minimum of four 12 step meetings weekly, And meet with a financial literacy coach to Better plan your future in recovery. In short, I have struggled with addiction for over 25 years, served two prison Sentences, And was real close to death. The House Of Hope has given me the tools in unity that is necessary For a complete psychic change In order for me to live a fruitful life. For that, I am forever in debt.

I've been fostering with The Bair Foundation for about 6 years. As an African American single foster parent, I can only speak from my experience. Throughout my good and difficult times within my fostering journey, I've always felt supported by the agency. My journey has taught me that it's okay not to have all the correct methods or answers to situations, but it's important to lead with love and understanding when dealing with foster children. I'm thankful for my Bair family and being supportive throughout my continuous journey of making a difference... one day at a time. If you're looking for a place to go to take the step to get clean, this is hands down the best place to go! Huge shout-out to Dan for never turning me away in the beginning of my recovery journey and huge shout-out to Jen for just being awesome! Rather than making us feel judged or kicking us out of the program, she was always there trying to give us any resources we may need to get clean. The waiting room environment is even good. I can't say enough how great full I am for southweat recovery. Truly the best mat clinic around... I am so thankful my husband found this place, it's not like any other clinic I have ever been too. The environment feels like a regular doctor office....

Angie is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met! She is a wonderful listener and offers great advice, I especially appreciate that she gives me a little homework to do after each session which helps keep me on track. I’ve been seeing her for quite sometime and she has helped me through some incredibly difficult times. I always recommend her to family and friends!!
