I saw Dr. Yongbing “Larry” Pu, MD, and he was absolutely excellent. He took the time to listen carefully, made me feel heard, and provided thoughtful guidance without rushing the process. His professional yet compassionate approach gave me a lot of comfort and confidence moving forward. I have had an amazing experience with NAS so far! Everyone has been compassionate and incredibly helpful, and they were able to get me an appointment very quickly! My appointments are always on time, and my prescription is sent in a timely manner, ensuring I don’t go without. Dr. Janelle has been absolutely fantastic, and I’m so grateful I get to continue to work with her on this journey! I would highly recommend to anyone trying to seek medication assisted treatment, especially if you’ve had poor experiences with other facilities in the past!

At first I wasn’t too sure about the program was having some trouble settling in, but after the first couple weeks, everything was smoothing itself out. The peers were helpful clients respectable now I’ve gone From the Rochambeau house to the Duer drive House to the Winston house and everything has been smooth sailing haven’t had any problems and if I’ve needed help or had questions, the peers and staff have been able to help me with whatever I needed attended to. So I would recommend this program to anybody you’ll get to help you need, people you trust, recovery in reach!!!!

When you step onto the Warriors Heart Virginia campus, you are immediately met with a sense of calmness and serenity. The trees, lake, and landscaping create an atmosphere that is really soul insulating. Each of the staff members are subject master experts in their field and are able to navigate the clients through their 6 week program with love, ease, and grace. All of the small details put into this campus make a difference in the healing at Warriors Heart, right down to the very first step one takes when you arrive: a sign that says "Welcome Home."

Aquila is a solid outpatient therapy provider. They offer IOP & outpatient services, including individual and group therapy. They stand out as being very honest and up front about treatment, costs, and long term expectations. The clinicians are dedicated and supportive. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a little support.

Every session provides meaningful insight into mental health, substance use recovery, trauma, and how to effectively support others through recovery with compassion and respect. The instructor creates a welcoming and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing experiences, and growing both personally and professionally. I constantly find myself talking about what I’m learning because the information is so impactful and applicable to real life. This training has truly been a life-changing experience, and I’m grateful for the knowledge and perspective it has given me.
