No place is all good or all bad. That being said, you can put good people in a bad organization and it will still not be great. That is the case with OCMH. Good people. Decent organization to your face, but it's chaos. In all honesty, I've had several appointments in 2025 alone where my therapist has said "they've put somebody else in my schedule, so I have to end early today." You're expected to go in person to all psychiatry appointments to see a doctor on a screen. Because of this, controlled medications like ADHD meds can't legally be prescribed. I was not told my primary insurance was not accepted until 2 years after I got the insurance. But the people themselves are good, so medium review.

As the support who put time, energy, and money into my gf's appointments, I'm telling you, the way staff treats DISABLED wound care patients(esp with follow-up)is DISGUSTING!! FACT: We have WEATHER in upstate. People have CAR TROUBLE. If you are so ABLEIST as to not have the COMPASSION and UNDERSTANDING this as it relates to disability limitations and need to cancel, you should be shut down. As it is, a fill in nurse recently accused her of missing an appointment, WHEN I TOOK HER MYSELF! Never make accusations w exculpatory witnesses present. Might run to State on this. Don't even think of blacklisting the patient. Don't ask me to contact you, because you were supposed to contact her and left her hanging.
