I was hoping to share most of my story here for other women to consider before coming to New Dawn but it won’t allow me to write everything so here’s the shortened version: First of all, this is NOT gender specific like it says on the website. This is a house with 10 beds, for both men and women. (Men and women do not share rooms though of course) Pros of New Dawn: The bedroom I shared with two other females was nice, the bathroom and closet were nice and big, and we never really got in each others way. We have group outings, the food was good, staff was nice except for one who I will mention in a moment, and it felt like a little family for the week that I was there. The groups were not very well thought out but I still enjoyed them for the most part. Now onto the HUGE red flags especially in regard to women: When I arrived there were two other women already there but they were both going to be discharging within the week. This creates 3 HUGE problems in my opinion: 1. I would be the only woman in the house 2. I would be required to share a bathroom with the men, a bathroom that doesn’t even lock. (or they offered for me to use the men’s private restrooms in their bedroom which is unacceptable) 3. If there’s only one female in the house, No other females can come in until at least 2 men leave. The day before having to discharge, it was visitors day and I had my boyfriend visiting me. Him and I both watched as Evette, the Intake Coordinator, went around the house and spoke to all of the men about room changes coming up. We listened to her trying to accommodate them in every way but she never came over to speak to me , to notify me of what was going on. Nothing. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was just a really busy day and she would talk to me later that night. I didn’t approach her myself because I wanted to observe what me and other females can expect coming to New Dawn. Fast forward to the end of the night she walked past me multiple times, came to my room multiple times to talk to my roommate about other things, but never said one word to me. The next morning I tried to call New Dawn Headquarters to tell them what was going on and Ashley, the woman I spoke to, Literally just transferred me to Evette. I thought this was highly unprofessional because obviously I called headquarters for a reason. So Evette comes into my room and tells me that a new male is checking into New Dawn that morning and that’s why the rooms are all messed up. She said she did everything she could not to take him in because she knew this would happen and for a moment I felt bad for her but again, this isn’t the first time this has happened at New Dawn and I still believe that the way she handled everything was extremely poor. I told her I needed some time to consider what I’m going to do now and she left for a little while and then came back on the phone with somebody. They were offering for me to go to their Women’s location in Cali but they told me I only had 1 hour to make a decision. So I just went from getting up and getting ready for group, to deciding whether or not I can even stay in treatment anymore and all you can provide is an hour? She didn’t try to comfort me , she didn’t try to show any pictures of the facility, tell me any information about it, nothing. She left the room and I got in the shower , called my boyfriend crying and trying to come up with a decision, and then I decided I’m just going to have to discharge and find something else. When Evette came back to ask my decision I told her I’m going to just leave and all she said was “Well didn’t you come here for a reason?” I responded “Yes I did and it wasn’t to be surrounded by a bunch of men.” She was not nice or compassionate in any way shape or form and I might be wrong but working in this type of field I would think that having empathy is important. I wish I could share more but that’s all Google will let me write. I hope that New Dawn addresses this problem quickly as it is not fair to the women who come here seeking treatment.

I would give zero stars if I could. This treatment center does not care about its clients — everyone is treated like a dollar sign rather than a person in need of help. The Executive Director has treated my daughter poorly and allows an environment where racism and discrimination against transgender and gender-diverse individuals are tolerated. My daughter received little to no actual treatment while she was there, despite what we were led to believe. It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if there were deeper issues happening behind the scenes, including potential misuse of funds or billing for services that were never truly provided. It’s devastating to see a place that’s supposed to offer care and healing instead cause harm and take advantage of vulnerable people. I would strongly urge anyone considering this facility to look elsewhere — families deserve honesty, compassion, and real treatment.

This place is great ..they actually care about your health physically and mentally dr nallaperumal was great the lady dr was very nice to even the lady's in the front office were pleasant and the people in the waiting room were very nice good vibes all around .very different from the last pain management i was at .I highly recommend this place..it's not just a pain management place it's also like a mental health place they help with everything. and they show you they really care about your well being weather you are in pain or if you just got alot on your mind they actually care ..oh and physical therapy is just next door and that guy was very respectful and very nice and very helpful on a few things ...so I genuinely recommend this place ..

Highly Recommend Red Rock Psychological. I’ve been attending Red Rock Psychological for the past three years, and I can honestly say it has been a life-changing experience. The dedicated professionals there have helped me uncover and address my thinking errors, guiding me to recognize patterns that were holding me back. They didn’t just point out the issues—they gave me the tools to actively alter my behavior and become a more productive and empathetic person.

Had to see a Doctor right away. Was able to get a same day appt with Dr. Greenblat. The staff was kind and caring. Dr. Greenblat was kind and caring and put me at ease right away. The pharmacy staff on site was wonderful. My experience with Community Health Alliance overall was top notch. Thank you everyone!

The staff especially KATRINA the one who answers INTAKE. has an attitude. My wife is there. And I have missed calls, which even a staff member told her while leaving me a voicemail to dial a specific number that I could call back any time. I called a week straight morning and night to leave a message to have her call back. And they can't confirm or deny that she's there. Which I understand even though i'm emergency contact. Katrina gave me nothing but attitude and blatant disregard for my concern, especially since there's an emergency it's involving our child. She hung up on me multiple times. I didn't speak to her in any tone. No disrespect I was very kind and understanding that it's a medical facility. If you can't handle someones loved one calling in to check in nightly. It's not like it was A10 minute phone call. Each one lasted less than a minute. TODAY, JANUARY 18TH AT 7 PM. I TALKED TO KATRINA FOR LESS THAN THIRTY SECONDS AND SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I WAS HONESTLY SHOCKED, SO I CALLED BACK AND ASLEDTHERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG OR DO THEY HAVE CERTAIN RULES ABOUT CALLING OUT OF THE FACILITY. COME TO FIND OUT, THEY ONLY GET TO CALL OUT TWICE A WEEK. SO THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SOMETHING SHE MEANT SHE COULD HAVE MENTIONED THE FIRST TWO OR THREE TIMES I CALLED HER. INSTEAD SHE GETS A KICK OUT OF USING THEIR POLICY FOR privacy and confidentiality then hanging up.

Sunarch Academy has really been a great resource of support for my family and I. My teenage daughter has benefited from the program greatly after being there for three weeks. They accepted her in at 2am and have made sure she’s been safe and focused on her healing process. I am grateful for the staff members, they are very helpful and always have a positive demeanor. The Academy is very clean and safe and I feel comfort knowing my daughter is protected there during her stay. Communication between myself, my daughter and staff is always open. I’m so grateful my daughter is getting the help that she needs. She says that says her activities, schooling and food are pleasant and she enjoys the sports a lot. My family and I are grateful for her progress and I can tell she is as well.

This place was a joke. The front staff need to get it together. I drove two hours for my first initial in person appointment which is mandatory, and was on time. They didn't come out to get me until 45 minutes into my appointment. I had to message Dr. Johnson to let him know I was there because the front desk staff had been no where to be seen for thirty minutes. He came out and greeted me, he had no patient at the time since I was suppose to be his current patient. He then made me wait another fifteen minutes before bringing me back. They charged me $120 for a 15 minute appointment. They didn't have my insurance benefits ready to go over with me and said they charge everyone $120 and refund the difference once they get copay info back from insurance. I never got any refund. My second appointment was a telephone. Hoping it would be a better experience. I was sorely mistaken. They called me 20 minutes into my appointment to go over insurance and canceled my appointment when they wanted to collect $146 and I refused. We were already 30 minutes into my appointment at that time and paying $146 for a 30 minute appointment is theft. This place is a rip off. Get verification of your insurance benefits before you go here and don't settle for paying full price for a 15 minute appointment when it should be the full hour you booked. For those of us seeking serious help and guidance, this place is a joke and doesn't take it or you and your state of struggle seriously not to mention they take advantage of you financially when you're already vulnerable as it is. Do not go here. You don't need to stress of their operations or lack there of when you're already dealing with so much else. If you're serious about self help, please, for the love of God, go anywhere else. I like how they can respond to the review and not address the fact that they don't respect their patients time nor address charging full price for a quarter of the alloted scheduled time- which is clearly a recurrent issue. They charge the $120 for the first initial appointment without having your EOB available prior to your appointment for review and get a signature confirmation that they've relayed it to you and you agree upon billing services prior to appointment that it's something you can actually afford. How they bill and collect to their own account before they actually bill your insurance is incorrect and quite frankly wrong for someone that is familiar with insurance billing. Their response to the review and lack of sympathy for the headache and stress they have caused when I just wanted to seek help, proves what kind of place this is. After I left this review, their front desk women harassed me via email and text message because she didn't agree with what I said which is unprofessional and unsafe feeling. If you speak up on how you feel here, beware they will harass you. If they are serious about helping their patients and being successful, they need to start with replacing their front desk representative quick. Again, avoid at all costs. Nothing is worth this headache of a place or dealing with that woman that will harass you for how your experience turned out due to mostly her faults and her not being able to come to terms. Take what some of us have to say any try to improve yourself and how you treat incoming patients.

I love Cindy she is probably the most intelligent person there. What a wonderful human being the rest of the staff is equally pleasant and kind. Miss Gail is a rare person in the world of drug rehab she actually cares about you and what happens to you. Most clinics just want your money. I am so grateful to have been guided to her clinic.I have nothing but love for every one there.

They are so helpful and a true blessing. I was homeless and on the street when the volunteers came out to the field I was staying in and they helped me into a program for housing. I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through college without them. It was getting harder keeping up with school while also dealing with surviving everyday bs on the streets. THANK YOU HELP OF SOUTHERN NEVADA, and special thanks to Chris the man that helped make this happen!

I have been coming here for a little over a year and a half. Though I've only worked with one provider I have spoken to a few others in passing who have been very kind and always seem to be in a cheery mood. The front desk staff always does a phenomenal job of making sure your appointments are scheduled there's no problems with your co-pays etc. I Wholeheartedly recommend Beyond Expectation To all who need psychological services.
I absolutely love Adam. Very professional. Very helpful. This place took me when everywhere else was quoting me a 6 month back log. They had me in for talk therapy in 2 weeks. Which was extremely helpful in getting me started back on my therapy journey. Very flexible and understanding when things come up. I had two emergencies and wasn’t made to feel shame due to having to miss the sessions. Convenient online sessions that make it easier to want to open up. It’s been a while since I’ve found a spot like this that makes it so easy to attend sessions
Geri Smith is an exceptional Marriage and Family Therapist that I will forever recommend. I have been going to her for two years and her guidance has changed my life in the best way possible. I know many people that also go to her and have heard nothing but rave reviews from everyone.
If you call just to confirm your appointment your provider will have a problem if you call I have had a provider "jordan Murrelle" call off on my appointment due to another patient having more issues then me the shameful thing Is they couldn't switch me to a different provider for that reason and the therapist all here talk to you like your a long best friend I don't need a friend I need a therapist
Folks , in the past I bad rapped St. Mary's hospital because of prescription differences. I'd like to retract and say PUBLICLY that I was in the wrong. I visited the Emergency room today and I have to tell you that I have NEVER been treated so good in a MEDICAL facility in my life. Professional , kind , prompt with smiles galore. I kid you not. Now although they could not prescribe me the medicine I feel would do me good , they gave me a path to follow that would give me the best chance of getting it , if deemed necessary. My hats off. I'd give more than five stars if I could.
