Find Mental Health Providers Across Michigan

Dawn farm refuses to improve their training in helping people with Dual diagnosis. They wouldn't take me into their transitional housing for this exact reason. They let repeat relapsers come back yet won't give me a shot! Not to worry you're not losing that much money with me Dawn Farm.....shame on your organization.

Absolute hellish experience.

Caring staff and professionals that really know what they are doing. The place is furnished to feel like a living room for the families coming in. The process is explained clearly, and there was never a time when any of us felt uncomfortable. We are very happy for the partnership they maintain with different agencies and organizations .

I recently had the pleasure of working with an exceptional therapist, Greg, who has truly transformed my experience with mental health care. From the very first session, he listened intently and created a safe space where I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts and feelings. His ability to never interrupt while I speak shows his genuine respect for my experiences and emotions.

I am so thankful for their program. During one of the most trying times in our lives, they provided a safe and productive environment for my son. The rules and expectations are clear and concise while being equitable for all parties. Sandy was incredibly professional and sets a great example and expectations for all employees. Highly recommend!

Our church went here for a discipleship retreat. The Eagle Village Camp staff was awesome and very polite. They met all our needs. The motel rooms where we stayed were plenty of room for our family of 5. There was so much open space to explore although the weather wasn't the best. We could not enjoy the pool or canoeing. Their indoor high ropes and climbing walls were pretty cool.

I’m not a patient of this practice and I can’t review the individuals of this practice. What I can do is review the process of attempting to become a patient. $5,000 is ridiculous for a diagnosis. This practice doesn’t accept any insurance so you’ll be paying out of pocket. I find this incredibly predatory.. $5,000 is more than 3 months mortgage. And for people claiming to help people with mental illness, or parents of a child struggling with mental illness I find this disgusting and impractical.

Absolutely amazing staff! Love Heather and Maurice. They have a great residential program for substance abuse. They offer group therapy and one on one counseling sessions. Jeffrey that works in administration is also very caring and helpful in many ways. Anyone I know struggling with substance abuse I refer to DOT Caring Center. I have personally done the detox and residential programs. I have been in recovery since 2015,thanks to DOT and the caring team!

Finally feel like I am making progress with my co occurring disorders . The staff are all person able and helpful. I never have to wonder what to expect from my 3 meetings a week. Someone is always willing to find space to deal with a crisis should it areise. Most importantly for me, I trust thease people, I feel like that is a huge reason I am finally moving forward after decades of addiction.

I have been taking 2 of my kids here for a few years. I have been seen here also. Theresa the secretary is amazing, she is knowledgeable about insurances, policies and procedures, and is always willing to help with appointments. She is an asset here. The other Teresa, therapist is who my kids see. She is caring, patient, and does her job well! My kids get upset when we have to cancel or she does. She is very limited as she travels from their other office in TC! She is a godsend! I should probably not put that out here as she fills up quick and we need our appointments but, the place is amazing with adults and children! Highly recommend!

Was evaluated by Dr. Ostien for memory issues (as referred to by my Neurologist). Ostien was organized, intelligent and kind. After three hours of testing, I do have difficulty remembering details in a story; but also left with a diagnosis of ADHD. As a Gen Xer, I cannot thank him enough. I feel like I had to mask my social issues all my life. Now I understand that it is just me and I am awesome the way I am. Highly recommend Ostien.

Staff is very friendly and willing to help in anyway that is needed!! They are kind, passionate and caring as well as friendly!! I talk on zoom with Dr.Harris!! He is a great listener and helps me to understand what I am feeling or saying. I would definitely recommend Psychological Services to anyone that is interested and in need of their support and services!!

I called for a quote today and your patient care team member was not very welcoming. She had a serious tone and made it sound like it was a problem to ask for a quote of possibly how much the testing would be. My apologies for wanting to make sure I was able to cover the costs out of pocket as a worse case scenario. She didn’t say bye or thank you for calling or ask if I had any other questions. She just hung up. These are potential new patients you are losing. Patient service is very important especially when are nervous to even call your center for service. Thanks

Love this office so far! Called the office and had an appointment within a month. The provider didn't just throw medication at me and is actually working diligently to get to the root cause of my mental health. No one has wanted to do that for me in the past 4 years since seeking treatment! Communication here is amazing and I love they can send a text for those of us who work jobs where we can't just readily answer a phone call. Highly recommend. Cassandra is also super super kind and I do not have enough good things to say! The wait may be a bit long but I feel seen. I feel heard. And I'm SO excited to get to the bottom of what's going on. I'd love to be able to give 6 stars honestly just for the fact I was listened to and treated like a person!

Dr. Vandervelde really cares about his patients and truly has their best interests at heart. The front desk staff was a little rude but their are new employees that are very kind. They are great about rescheduling in my opinion, you just have to call in advance, not the same day, like any doctors office. Excellent psychiatry is incredibly difficult to come by in this city so he's worth the wait and won't tolerate patients no showing or same day rescheduling. Beautiful view from the office spaces too, right over the Grand River.

Great service and staff. Volunteer coffee is a plus. We really enjoyed the employee art show but would have totally missed it if we hadn't had to wait in that area. Better notifications set out would have brought more viewers.

Dr. Plumb has changed my life. There may not be many psychiatrists in traverse city but I’m fortunate enough to have DR. Rachel plumb as my doctor for 5 years now. I’m comfortable enough to tell her things i wouldn’t normally tell a psychiatrist. The front staff is incredibly helpful and supportive. I’m grateful for ATS.
