The entire team showed nothing but love, encouragement, knowledge, and support from the moment I walked through the front doors. Victory has assisted with finding my true self, making great friends and building a recovery network. I would recommend Victory to anyone. They are extremely capable of changing lives forever.

I was struggling with substance use pretty bad I came across a friend that recommended me to ELEANOR HEALTH. I am so glad she did because I would not turn away by any means they have helped. Save my life and has worked with me all through my Drug court program thanks to ELEANOR HEALTH I have a new life and could not be any happier with it. Love my doctor Alice she makes you feel so welcome and makes you feel as though you are friends with her.

The security guard, Mr Delbert has been so kind, friendly and helpful to all of our family that has come to visit our Dad in the Rehab. He always greets you with an open arms and a big ole hug and always has something positive to say!!! The nurses and therapist are just as kind and helpful!

The Ness Center has saved my life and given me a new family where there is love and hope. It’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced before in recovery. I’ve been in and out of rehabs and AA for 30 years. I am now properly medicated and sober! Brian Mcnulty is an incredible and passionate individual who actually gives a shit! As a counselor he educates and explains the brain disorder of addiction in a way where you want to listen, learn and laugh. That’s right… I said laugh. He’s pretty funny too. There is joy at the Ness center!

Our family had an exceptional experience with Avenues Baton Rouge, and we are deeply grateful for the care, professionalism, and compassion shown throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, the level of communication was outstanding—clear, consistent, and genuinely supportive during what was an incredibly difficult time for us. Alex, the Clinical Director, demonstrated remarkable leadership and expertise. He took the time to ensure we understood every step of the process, and his calm, knowledgeable approach gave us a great deal of confidence and peace of mind. Lacey, the Case Manager, was equally incredible. She was always accessible, responsive, and attentive to both our loved one’s needs and our concerns as a family. Her coordination and follow-through made a complex situation feel much more manageable. Winnie, the Counselor, brought a level of empathy and understanding that truly made a difference. Her ability to connect, listen, and provide guidance was invaluable—not only for our loved one but for our entire family. What stood out most was the unwavering support we felt from the entire team. They didn’t just provide treatment—they provided reassurance, encouragement, and genuine care every step of the way. We are sincerely appreciative of everything they have done and would highly recommend Avenues Baton Rouge to anyone seeking a recovery facility that truly prioritizes both patients and their families.

This place is LIFE CHANGING! Great rooms; pretty, clean facility; lively, helpful, educated staff; much-needed insight & information! I have been clean for 8 months now, & it all started with the foundation that this place gave me! I am so grateful to everyone there, from the administration, to the counselors, to the techs! So much love!

I was thinking about this place today for some reason. I spent 29 days here in 2015 or late 2014. Anyway I remember it was a very good program. The scenery is beautiful and many long walks around the facility. I was glad we could smoke as well. I remember going to the local Catholic Church nearby. Oh yes and the food was delicious. Females were there as well, but no peeking lol. Overall a good place if you wanna sober up and stay off the destructive path.

They DO NOT take healthy blue like the website says. I have been going here for about 4 months now and they just keep saying they are waiting on the paperwork or something. They should really take it down from the website and contact medicaid and let them know they are not taking it cause healthy blue is the one who gave me this doctors info cause they said that they took my insurance but that wasn't the case. Other than that I love applegate recovery and all the employees , everyone is really nice and understanding.

I really enjoyed avenues covington. I called them after I had went to avenues metarie 6 years ago. The staff were really wonderful and helpful. I love the fact that a majority of them are in recovery. I've never learned so much out of 11 rehabs. I mad a lot of real connections with staff and clients. I enjoyed serving in the kitchen and the alumni event. It really is in 1st place for me.😉

I’ve been with MHSD for a little less than 10 years and I came to this location in 2022 after aging out of the Chartres-Pontchartrain location. At first, I was extremely treatment-resistant and didn’t have the right treatment plan, but after some ups and downs, I’ve finally stuck with a consistent treatment plan and I’ve definitely mellowed out overtime (after experiencing several rather severe episodes over the years). Overall, I highly recommend their services for your mental health needs. The staff are friendly and professional and services (at least at this location) are fast and easy.

My son was sick with fever and we missed an appointment. We called as soon as they opened and let them know and rescheduled. We asked if we could get his mental health meds refilled until our next visit (two weeks later) and they refused. My son was without his mental health medication. Would not recommend if you rely heavily on medicine being filled.

Love Dr Isherwood, Laura and each person there!! It’s hard finding a Dr or place in general for help when there is so many who have no bed side manner. They truly are a gift and doing the work of God. It’s very rare to find someone you can be totally transparent with , without feeling judged. Or waiting for the “shoe to drop”. Thank you to each person at Apple gate for the love, support and just being an extra ear to listen. You truly are changing the world one day at a time. ♥️🙏🏼 they also take Medicaid
