I absolutely would recommend everyone to go to bluegrass professional counseling. I love all the staff! They are extremely friendly and will help you in many ways.

I was nervous at first but realized how many wonderful clients there was. everyone was so kind even though our circumstances were what they were. We all became close as we were being cared for and introduced to recovery and safety from drugs and alcohol and the outside conditions we were experiencing. The staff was so attentive and helpful and were always on time with our treatment and medical needs. Each specialist and therapist and nurse became a comfort and a friend of mine . I recommend this facility as the best short term residential treatment program.

I had the best of care at this New Start. My support team was awesome !! So kind and understanding every step of the way from my Dr to my councilor and each person who works there. If you need help don't hesitate reach out and they will take your hand and show you the way. Never pushy but understanding... a great bunch of people a true I care team !! Thank you all. I finished DUI classes today. I honestly wasn’t looking forward to taking the 20 hours at all, but Ashley made the class educational and actually kind of fun. I learned a lot and it went by fast. She even had snacks and coffee which I took advantage of for sure. For a dude that didn’t want to do this to begin with, I’m actually glad I did it.

I am so incredibly grateful for my time at the Ridge! I want to clarify, though, that it wasn't the Ridge itself that helped me. It was solely 100% my group/recovery therapist, Amanda. There aren't any words I can type that could even begin to describe just how gifted and wonderful Amanda is as a therapist. As an adult in my 30s who has been battling many mental illnesses since childhood, I am no stranger to 1:1 therapy, group therapy, IOP, ect, and in all my years in & out of various treatments, I have NEVER met anyone like Amanda! Her approaches to therapy and recovery are so helpful for life outside of treatment. She provides lifelong skills and tools to help each and every patient to navigate and healthily cope with their symptoms in the "real world." Amanda is 100% empathetic and sincere to each and every one of her patients. She TAKES THE TIME to HEAR US, not just listen to us. And because she genuinely cares, she REMEMBERS what her patients tell here and she ALWAYS is willing to go above and beyond for any one of her patients. She has done so for me more than once and I have seen first hand her do the same for many others. I could attempt to write a novel-length review about my recovery in Amanda's group & it still won't do the actual experience any justice. Being a behavioral therapist was certainly Amanda's calling in life and I can never thank her enough for all she has done for me in the short 5 or 6 weeks I was in the program. And while I cannot speak for any of the drug rehab groups since I was only in a mental health group, I can at least assure you that every singe group is very welcoming, regardless. Any time I would pass by another classroom, I'd see groups working together in various ways, working on their treatment goals and everyone was always calm, respectful, and kind. Now I'm not saying that treatment and recovery at the Ridge is easy or one big, chill party to just pass time until graduation. It takes work. HARD work to recover and learn to implement all of the skills and tools provided at the Ridge. What you put in is truly what you get bac. With that being said, don't be afraid to vulnerable. Of course, way easier said than done, but I promise, you are safe at the Ridge. Especially safe if you are in Amanda's group. Staff will work with you to the absolute best of their abilities to provide you with the greatest care.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Roaring Brook. Not only do they provide the best care in their field, the genuine compassion and care that the staff exudes is unmatched. Roaring Brook makes their clients feel safe and ensures they do everything they can to help those on their recovery journey. From individual therapy, to the material in IOP groups, medication management, and more, they lend a caring hand. I can’t imagine recommending a place any more than I would the one that has helped save my life. Thank you Roaring Brook, from the bottom of my heart!

I spent 4 weeks at the Bridge to Recovery and it has had a permanent impact on me and my family. My husband joined me for a Family Weekend at the conclusion of my stay there and agrees that the work and healing that we accomplished with the guidance of the Bridge staff, borders on the magical. It was worth every effort and expense to invest in our life together. I saw first hand the healing within my group of all ages and all varieties of emotional pain. I have invested years in various therapies, treatments and programs - nothing compares to the whole person healing to be found at the Bridge to Recovery.

Jason is awesome. He’s the only that has seemed to really care about helping and get you the care you need. With people never really sticking around it’s hard to have that bond with the employees. Jason, Myra and Jodi are awesome
