Excellent service. They are very flexible. I've been with them for 4 years. They have lots of resources and programs available. They helped me into drug/alcohol rehab at no cost to me. If you don't get the best fit for your therapist the first time, it's very easy to find a better fit. These people are life savers.

Atchison Valley Hope saved my life. I had tried living a life in recovery before, but it never worked out for me. When I hit a point to no return I reached out for help to Valley Hope in Atchison. From the moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed with such warm, loving compassion. The feeling of comfort and safety put me at ease and I knew from the very start something was going to be different. The staff is amazing. From the director all the way to the kitchen staff. I have never been treated with more love and respect in my life. I spent nearly 2 whole months as a patient and the tools I learned at Valley Hope with my willingness of participation, helped mold me to the human being I am today. That place is magical. It wasn't easy, but with the patience of my counselor, my Chaplin, my case manager, and all of the staff, I have been living the life of my dreams. Clean and sober. Good. Been diagnosed with Brey-tardation for the 3rd time now. It's a rare yet severe disorder that only very few people have. Clinic is nice and clean. Professional and somewhat quick. Income based and sometimes employers help pay for visits. So reasonable clinic over all when dealing with mental issues while be financially unstable.

I was seeing a therapist here as well as a psychiatrist. The therapist was on a tv screen instead of being in person. So it felt detached. I didn’t understand why they couldn’t just do the same thing over the phone. I could however see the psychiatrist in person. Doesn’t make any sense. I didn’t feel like I was getting the help I needed. I felt like I was just a number. I also felt like decisions were made without me being involved. Which is a shame. I didn’t feel like they treated me like a human being that had a life with other issues outside of them. That’s the real disaster. They didn’t work with me whatsoever. Whatever they said goes. Places like these need to treat people like the individuals they are. I didn’t receive that. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

I began with their youth services, which I utilized until 2017, and subsequently transitioned to adult services in 2018. Now, at twenty-six years old, I remain committed to promoting Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention. My experience with South Central Mental Health has fostered a deep sense of loyalty, and I am proud to be a long-standing client. Based on my positive interactions with their staff and services, I confidently award them a five-star rating. I appreciate the friendly and approachable nature of my caseworker, P.R.I, and counselor, as well as their tireless efforts to support me. Their advocacy for my independence, including the opportunity to live on my own, is particularly valued, and I am grateful for their ongoing assistance.

I attend IOP through valley Hope of Wichita and I will be the first to recommend anyone who is struggling with addiction that is serious about seeking help. The counselor at this facility are amazing and only want what's best for there patients. Thank you for caring.

Kristal Lang is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and made sure I was comfortable with the treatment plan. Her compassionate and professional demeanor made me feel at ease throughout the visit.

The worst intake place. They don't handle issues. You get jerked around with appointments. Words put in your mouth. Lied to about plans. purposely put through the ringer by the everyone in the building. How can someone even feel confident in any help they get when they can't commit or be honest. Don't even get told about treatment plans or get copies, they make there own up for you. Gas lit is an understatement

OK except if used for crisis management. Expect to spend 3 to 4 hours

Linda is awesome. I had seen her for several years back in the 2010s and have been seeing her recently again. She is even more helpful now. I highly recommend anyone struggling give Linda a chance. Prices are beyond fair, atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing, and just love her therapy dog, whom was pleased to see that it is still the same little guy. I look forward to continuing or relationship. Five stars is just not enough to give her. A+++++++

My experience at hope harbor was great with the licensed therapists. They had a clear path and did a great job. I am astounded at the behavior of the receptionists. They were casually having personal conversations including multiple curse words while I was trying to finish paperwork before my appointment in the lobby. I had two appointments back to back and multiple times heard them snickering after an interaction with me. As I was leaving the building they were full blown laughing after I left the door. I came here for a reason and for them to laugh at me was very belittling in what should be a safe space.
