I'm a Dove for life but I relapsed after 16 months. I was really getting it together. I didn't come back for almost a month. I was embarrassed and ashamed of relapsing. I've gone to treatment inpatient 30 days, recovery works PHP for 21 days, and now I'm at Meridian women's recovery home for 90 days. I'm currently in IOP at Meridian. My time here will be up 2/18/26. I'm praying to go back to Dove. They say NO because I was gone too long. I say I wasn't in my right mind. I was drinking and couldn't stop. Hopefully I'll get another chance! I love it there. 🙏

I have been coming to journey Road west for almost 10 years. I started coming when it was on Bradbury. My first doctor was awesome, and so was my 2nd Dr or N.P. Melonie. Mel left last December. I believe they have been going down hill since melonie left. Her replacement is ok I guess except when they to reschedule your appointment because she won't be there. Now she training a new N.P. and the shorted my script 3 days. Made my appointment for 28 days but only gave me enough for 25 days. The receptionist, the nurse, Darcy & Amanda are great but I'm majorly upset. They won't even work with you if you need afternoon appointments. I have never failed a urine test & I've only rescheduled my a couple of my appointments because they were to early. I've been clean since 07/2015. I'm thinking very seriously about going somewhere else as my opinion of Journey Rd west has dropped, I've only continued going there because I really like my counselor.

This clinic will very seldom call us back. If ever! Even to make an appointment!!!! It’s very frustrating to see a VA clinic treat their veterans this way. We live 30 minutes away and we have to drive there to get an appointment! I give it a two star because the doctors are okay. It’s just the staff that is supposed to answer the phone or at least call us back that do not do their job!

Kevin left without his clothes. He left in a hospital gown in 30 degree weather. He had a Ralph Lauren jacket and Addidas basketball shorts that came up missing or stolen! Security suppose to be looking into via the security cameras. He saw patients being taped, did not feel safe. He came in with increased anxiety. The behavioral unit was nit conducive to decreasing his anxiety!

I’d like to share an experience and not everybody is going to agree with me on. The way I feel. Thank God I am almost 3 years clean off of any kind of opiate which was my DOC. I went to this place and I was still messed up. I brought my own bag in.(🤦‍♀️) after the second day of still being out of it, the ladies at the rehab took me to the hospital where the doctor commence to give me 8 mg of Narcan! It might’ve been my third day like I said I was kind of out of it, but with the amount that I did even if I was completely sober for three or four days, 8 mg of Narcan was not going to make me feel good! I feel like somebody should be told about this so that it doesn’t happen again because I feel like that doctor could have killed me and they stood by watching! And then just a couple hours afterwards they put me in a van and forced me to sit outside of a gas station for hours while I waited on a ride to come and get me. That was completely unprofessional and in my mind it was evil! Three years sober and I’m still having nightmares over it. That might be a good place, but the people who did this to me were not good at all.

Coming to Tru Healing River Bend after completing a 28-day inpatient rehab was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my recovery journey. The transition felt supportive, safe, and encouraging from the moment I arrived. The staff here truly care about each individual and the work they do makes a real impact. Jared Neal is an incredibly experienced and valuable asset to the PHP program. He is hands down the number one group facilitator — his insight, understanding, and ability to connect with everyone in the room makes a lasting impact. The energy he brings to each session inspires growth, honesty, and hope. Jared’s guidance has played a huge role in helping me stay grounded and focused on my recovery. Julie is a wonderful therapist whose actions are always genuine and heartfelt. You can tell that every step she takes and every piece of guidance she gives comes from a place of compassion and true care. Her sessions create a space where people feel safe to open up and work through difficult emotions. Stephanie is another amazing therapist who brings a valuable mind and deep perspective to the program. Her insight and ability to understand each person’s unique story make her an essential part of the healing environment. She helps you see things from a new angle and encourages you to keep moving forward. Robin is pure love and kindness during the intake process. She genuinely cares about every person who walks through the door and brings her life experience into her work in a way that makes you feel seen and understood from day one. Layla is also a light — she radiates love and support every time you see her, making everyone Courtney as well she is valuable asset she is light

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Indiana?
When comparing providers in Indiana, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Indiana?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Indiana?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Indiana providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Indiana providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
