I had an incredible experience at CFD Tampa! The staff are so kind and they genuinely care about each patient they meet. I owe so much to this facility and everyone I interacted with. My treatment team never stopped encouraging me to get better and their belief in my recovery made all the difference. Seeking treatment at Center for Discovery was one of the best things to ever happen to me and I am eternally grateful to my treatment team and the other staff. I cannot recommend Tony highly enough. He has been an incredible source of support for both myself and my husband. Tony has a way of making you feel heard and understood from the very first session. Finding a real DBT facility was the best thing I’ve done for my mental health. I recommend this place to everyone battling BPD, PTSD and other Co-morbid illnesses. Michael has been the most compassionate therapist and truly saved my life. I’m a little over a year into treatment and I am a completely different person than when I walked through the door. I’m creating a life worth living and I owe it all to Tampa Bay DBT.

My children were long time patients a little over a year. My children developed a very strong bond with there therapist. My daughter got COVID and I had to cancel my appointment which I did within the timeframe required. I had to cancel another appointment due to a work emergency out of town and canceled again within the time required. I received an email that we were discharged from the practice. I was shocked due to the fact that I cancelled within the time required. I sent an email pleading with the staff to please not discharge us as my children would be devastated and explained that I am a single mother and my apologies and assuring we would never miss another appointment. We were told no and they were discharged. So disappointing that this practice believes money is more important then the well-being of there patients. My kids are devastated.

To any veteran that's struggling with mental health, do NOT COME HERE! I started mental health treatment at this Vet Center when I moved here in 2018. They stopped my treatment in May 2023 for no fault of my own without a backup plan or anything to help me with my mental health issues.

The entire staff is incredible – so friendly, kind, and completely non-judgmental about my past or my drug of choice. The lunches, provided from different local restaurants, were a nice touch. I met some really kind people there, and the therapists were amazing! Case management was also awesome, very resourceful and accommodating to my needs. I can't recommend them enough! I will 100% recommend whitesands in Hyde park Tampa to anyone and everyone to get the help they might need ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ They also take everyone to crunch fitness Monday - Friday if your interested 💪 Take us on calming walks 2 days a week It’s located in a beautiful part of Tampa. The Cove Men's Residential saved my life! I was lost in the ways of this world with no compass or bearing. The wonderful, caring, down to earth staff gave me the tools needed to navigate life on life's terms. I highly recommend The Cove for anyone who is just tired of being tired.

I was here after being bakeracted against my will.

I have been taking my medication for over a year now. I normally visit my psychiatrist every 3 months to update her on how the medication has been going, whether it is good or bad. Recently, my medication was running low, so I called my local pharmacy to request a refill. The pharmacy called back and advised that the request was denied because I haven't visited my doctor within months. Which had slipped my mind, due to a busy schedule. I called USF Health to schedule an appt. only to find out that my psychiatrist is no longer with USF Health and that I couldn't obtain my medication until I see a new doctor. I am upset about 3 things here! First, all patients under Dr. Laura Colon- Rivera should have been notified of her absence and placed under a new doctor! So that patients can continue their treatment! This was never done! Secondly, USF Health should have accepted my request to refill my medication, this is for my mental health! The medication is taken daily and improves my daily life. Thirdly, my follow up appointment with the new doctor should have been immediately! It shouldn't take a week or more to be seen. I am very disappointed in the professionalism and care that is not being given! Since I have not been able to take my medication, I am having withdrawal effects.

Just want to give thanks to God for The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay...the organization is selfless, touching myself and my 2 year old daughter as we recover from hurricanes Helene and Milton during this holiday season...their kindness is overwhelming...thank you so much

I submitted the paperwork online for my son almost 2 months ago. Called 2 weeks ago for a status, and never received a call back. I called again today and spoke to scheduling and I was informed they have no availability at all for my child.

As we approach the end of the year 2024, we give a very special Thank You to The BayCare Life Management Centers in Tampa.

Cove is a joke! I came here for a court ordered evaluation, despite the reviews given online prior to going in, I entered with my own experience willing to come here because it was one of the few places that could get me in quick. I was told the evaluation was free, and that treatment was not always recommended as I was not ordered to do any treatment. Just complete the eval. Little did I know before even being evaluated I was recommended unnecessary treatment and a 6 week plan before even exploring any “mental health or personal related issues” because of my “situation that I was in, in the first place”. I was told by the evaluator “No matter who it is I can’t sign an evaluation that goes to my supervisor that doesn’t recommend treatment, it will be returned as denied” Treatment for the 6 week program was $500 and they take very few insurance. I wouldn’t recommend going here for anything court ordered especially if you’re promised it will be quick and easy.

For therapy they deserve a six. As an adult in grief who suffered multiple traumas after my Fiance died suddenly they taught me skills and gave me a strength within that I never imagine was possible a few months ago.
