Do not recommend. I was in the virtual waiting room for my appointment, and went completely ignored. No message or phone call back. If you rely on medications for your mental health, this is NOT who you can count on. Already a rip off, and they have the audacity to increase their rates without letting anyone know about. I’ve read several other reviews from others with a similar experience with this horrible company. Can’t wait for my super generic automated response from the owner…

I attended Clementine in March of 2023. I want to make it clear that Monte Nido is a medical model of a treatment facility, meaning their main focus is to weight restore you and get you out. Clementine has a lot of restrictions and an extremely unique approach to food. They make it a point that a relationship with food should not be extreme ( Ex: extreme restriction). Despite this, they make the clients meal plans extremely high and overfeed them, to another extreme, which doesnt really make a lot of sense in the long term. The staff was questionable, there was a few RC's ( recovery coaches) that were great, but other than that some of the staff did not seem well equipped for this type of environment. Each client gets a family therapist, an individual therapist, and a dietician as a part of their main team. My dietician, preaching for food diversity, was a vegan so I did not feel confident in my nutrition advice I got. My individual therapist did not really help, at all. She restated the things I already knew about my mental health and cognitive processing, so I just felt like I was wasting my time. The family therapist was however, very well trained. Unfortunately it really depends on the members of the family to make that change, so her counseling can only be as effective as you make it. A lot of the RC's did not offer support even when clients were breaking down. They had unprofessional relationships with the clients, making fun of them, being petty and refusing to take them to the bathroom, and just not caring about the clients they were expected to care for. To sum up my stay here, I relapsed the second I got home. I found that a majority of the clients white knuckled the whole program because that was what the staff wanted to hear, the "right" answers. I did not go to treatment with a person who was fine from then on, everybody went down the rabbit hole at some point. I think a large issue that a lot of the clients felt was a dissociative state, where nobody could really process what was going on. We were all walking around like we were zombies and to this day i cannot really remember a ton of my memories here. In my experience, I don't feel this place really fit my needs, i developed new habits learned from other clients and I had major treatment fatigue from hundreds of ineffective therapy sessions. It's been two years and I still constantly struggle. Clementine doesn't treat the root cause, they treat the symptoms. If you are considering residential for yourself or your daughter I would recommend going to a treatment facility based on a a cause ( anxiety, PTSD, OCD, Depression). You will get a more specialized approach to the root cause, and when that is managed, the symptoms will most likely decrease.

I am writing this review to share my personal experience and to encourage parents to be very mindful when seeking mental health care for their children. This nurse practitioner ( Herve Corbel) treated my daughter on three occasions and treated me once as a patient. From the very first visit, the experience raised serious concerns. During sessions intended for my daughter, he repeatedly spoke at length about his own personal life, shifting the focus away from the patient. My daughter was there to receive professional mental health support, not to listen to the provider’s personal experiences. Throughout the visits, his explanations were often contradictory and lacked clarity, which made it difficult to understand the treatment approach or feel confident in the care being provided. When I was seen as a patient myself, I experienced what felt like excessive and unnecessary questioning that did not seem appropriate or relevant. The situation ultimately escalated into an unpleasant verbal confrontation in front of the office assistant, which was deeply upsetting—especially considering that my daughter is a special-needs child and was present in that environment. Children and families seek mental health services with trust and vulnerability, expecting professionalism, respect, and appropriate boundaries. Unfortunately, this was not our experience. I am sharing this so other parents can make informed decisions and ensure their children receive the respectful, supportive, and professional care they deserve.

This place was horrible. Staff very unprofessional.. the food was always cold, the portion size would be the same given to toddlers. The showers had worms, one of the girls got ring worm. It was dirty.. the clients threatened each other with violence and staff didn’t care. Do not send anyone here. This place is an absolute joke. I only face 1 star because I couldn’t give zero. Surprised this place is still open, but it’s a money scam: there’s no real treatment, or therapy. Place is garbage!

I’m patient from Dra Albelo for some years. I went to the office do my year check up, the doctor call me to the updates. After that, I receive a bill from the clinic. My insurance is Aetna, and I pay so much for all regular services (blood pressure, mammogram, HPV…) and then I call Aetna and they say the clinic send then a bill with the wrong code, they denied. I called the 18442049926 number to ask about the amount they will charge me. And the bill person says I need to come to the clinic and show the bill. I come to the office and Helen says she cannot do anything. So I call the number again and it’s not working the line. What hell? She says she is not the one responsible for the bills. Who are? The bill line is not working and she don’t know when is going to work again. She don’t know who do I need to look to resolve this. Really? Very very unhappy with this service.
The worse place ever. I do not recommend them for your loved ones. Doing group sessions more than half of there clients are bored out of there minds or Sleeping. They should not call there therapists ... therapists. More like kindergarden teachers, if that. NO MORE CLASS FOR ME.👍
