I tried to get Healthcare here and I cannot recommend against this business enough. If you want to participate in ANY mental health service, you must also migrate your psychiatric meds management to their practice. This isn't unusual but what happened next was. Alyssa pressured me to "just come in" for an intake appointment when I had follow up questions. For days she has failed to answer an incredibly basic and integral question about their meds management practice. "Just come in" When asked about what specifics of the meds management providers (whom she has already established are NON OPTIONAL) she gave answers like I should GOOGLE IT or look at the FDA website because she isn't a prescriber. She declined to get me in touch with a prescriber directly. I'm asking about the three (3) providers at THIS practice, not trying to divine that answer. When I expressed that she said that they reference the FDA page. Either I'm being fed bullshit or they are working on DrGoogle levels of care, and I'm praying it's the first thing. This is incredibly alarming behavior from any practice, especially one that caters to those who may be vulnerable due to their mental health needs. Run, do not walk, away. The pressure to come in for intake has continued throughout, despite my requests for information. I have been left with the impressions that money is the main motivation for this practice (previsit questions get no insurance payout and visits do) and that they are uninterested in a patient actively participating in their own care. This behavior is inept at best and predatory at worst. I wouldn't recommend trying to find out. Honorable mention for the checked out Client Rights Officer who misinterpreted my ADA disability accomodation despite it being typed in plain English and then just not replying when I corrected her two days ago.
