Stayed here in 2020 as well. I feel like I need to speak up. Yes, they did turn all the heat up when a patient was anxious about getting out of bed. I remember it being so hot and stuffy. They blared a microphone by their bed, and made it loud. The staff removed us from the house and took us on an "adventure". When we came back, they were no longer there. I was exposed to seeing a lot of outbursts, and I even remember on my discharge day that the lead therapist (Nicole) said to me "I hope they find out what's wrong with you", it has stuck with me to this day. I was not allowed to say how I truly felt a lot of the time, and when I did, I was threatened with wilderness therapy and long term therapy. They didn't respect pronouns and they didn't respect chosen names. This company is apart of the Troubled Teen Industry, and I do NOT recommend sending your child here. I endured so much there, and I only came out to get worse. I am now finally sober, and finally getting a hold of my mental health. This place was awful. i repeat, DO NOT send your child here. There was so much drama, the staff was awful, and I wasn't even allowed to have my journal. It was such an awful horrid experience.
