This program has a bad reputation across the board with a lot of clients I have come across. Also, known for being really cheap, no outings or anything exciting about being here. You will get bored easily, they have a strong turn over of clients who end up relapsing. I entered this program genuinely wanting help and support during a very vulnerable time in my life. They work with really shady sober living Homes including Pacific Recovery and Spark Recovery in Winnetka and Sherman Oaks. I am under the assumption that the sober living clients in these home’s are body brokers due to recent conversations with clients in these homes. It’s all a business at the end of the day. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this program to a friend or family member. This program is complete trash. If you like to sit in a room and be baby sat all day go for it. Staff appeared extremely overworked, understaffed, and emotionally burnt out, which impacted the overall quality of care and support clients received. The environment itself did not feel clean, organized, or professionally maintained, and communication/support often felt lacking during vulnerable moments. Recovery programs should prioritize compassionate, engaged care and proper staff support, and sadly that was not my experience here. Myexperience left me feeling more overwhelmed than supported. Communication, follow-up, and continuity of care could have been handled more professionally, especially regarding insurance and discharge coordination during a mental health and recovery crisis. I hope the program continues improving its approach to compassion, communication, and client support for future patients seeking recovery.

The most confused and unprofessional place to go too. One of the lead specialist named Gemma De La Rosa is one confused incoherent individual. No customer service skills whatsoever. Also, could not answer basic questions. They give you the run around and indirect answers to your questions. I highly recommend not coming here. Don't waste your time here. And please save yourself the hassle and don't waste your time talking to Gemma lol

I recommend the Child & Family Guidance Center. I used to bring my child here every week. It was well organized from day 1 during the intake meeting and my child connected with her therapist. She’s really come a long way since the summer. My only complaint is there really needs to be some more diversity in their administration. There should be different individuals from various cultures employed here - not only if you “habla espanol.” My child is no longer attending but I would strongly recommend they make some adjustments to their hiring practices to mirror a diverse clientele. Not EVERY client that attends is Hispanic !
