NUWAY Alliance, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a community-based residential treatment program designed to support adult men in recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Known as NUWAY I, this medium-intensity program provides a structured, medically-monitored setting with 24-hour staff supervision and on-site nursing support. The treatment model is individualized and centers around the unique goals and needs of each client. I've been in treatment here for about 3 weeks. The vast majority of the clients actually want to be here. I look forward to going each day. Alumni drop in frequently to workout or just to say hi. Their approach to recovery is unlike any other program I have been to. Working out has definitely helped with my mental health and my attitude. The staff is also really great. Abby keeps the whole ship afloat and is super nice.
Great, staff and counselors. The owner is great, Brandon is great, Ben is great. And Lisa M is such a wonderful counselor and I can go to her for anything. I can go to any of the staff for anything I'm going through or for any problems and they will always be welcoming and kind. This place saved my life by helping me get sober! Highly recommend. Best methadone clinic and cleanest methadone clinic in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas!
I see Kara weekly for therapy sessions, and I am so pleased with how we communicate and have connected. She is a fantastic lady and therapist. I have gotten a lot of help, and I am extremely grateful for the services Tubman has provided for both the community and myself.

I have received therapy, psychiatry, and 3 of my children have also had therapy with Canvas and I can honestly say that Canvas health have been a great support to my family. Throughout the years, I have been to several locations for services through Canvas health and I love them all. I have been to the Oakdale office, Bloomington office, and I remember when they had a Brooklyn center office. I really appreciate the comfort and supportive services that Canvas health has provided for me and my family. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
