New Beginnings Behavioral Health, located in Draper, Utah, provides a comprehensive range of residential and outpatient mental health services designed specifically for youth and adolescents. With a 16-bed, co-ed residential facility, the program offers a structured, supportive, and home-like environment where children ages 11 to 17 can access therapeutic interventions, life skills training, and continuous supervision. The center’s treatment philosophy is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a client-centered approach, helping young clients identify maladaptive thought patterns, heal emotional wounds, and develop healthier behaviors.
In addition to residential treatment, New Beginnings offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for children and teens who require intensive care while remaining connected to their home and school environment. Services include individual, group, and family therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, case management, and crisis intervention. Educational support is provided through accredited online learning to ensure students continue their academic growth while addressing their mental health needs.
The facility treats a wide spectrum of conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, ADHD, attachment issues, oppositional defiant disorder, and more.
