It’s been quite the journey trying to find a psychiatrist that actually listens and understands the struggles I’m having, rather than assuming they know what’s best. It's a Black led nonprofit dedicated to caring for people with mental illness and intellectual disabilities. The work isn't glamorous, but someone has to do it, and the org tries hard to take care of its staff as well as its clients. Definitely one to watch!
