Women & Infants Hospital – Center for Women’s Behavioral Health in Providence, Rhode Island provides specialized mental health services for women before, during, and after pregnancy, with a focus on perinatal mental health and reproductive life transitions. The program offers a full continuum of care including inpatient consultative services, a nationally recognized Day Hospital program, outpatient services, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, medication management, intensive outpatient programming, support groups, substance abuse services, and medication assisted treatment. The Day Hospital program is a mother-baby unit that allows infants to remain with their mothers during treatment while patients receive structured mental health care from a multidisciplinary team.
