I was a resident there for about 6 months before I was discharged for not following the rules. I will always be grateful for the farm. I learned a lot of stuff there and interacting with the animals is something I will forever cherish. So if you or someone you know is trying to go to the farm here's a few things to keep in mind. Following the rules is very important and they are in place for a reason. You may think that some of them are stupid but again they are there for a reason. Take advantage of everything that is offered and if you need something ask. Always give 100% while working with the animals, you'll love it. The animals are special and I promise you you'll fall in love with them. DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS!!!!!. This Is one of the rules I had a hard time following. Some of them are on medication, some are on special diets and they can also get sick. The farm can be a really good place if you listen to suggestions, take your recovery serious and hold yourself accountable when you need to. Remember that this is your life you're fighting for and you are worth it.
