About Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a one-on-one treatment format in which a licensed therapist works exclusively with a single client to address mental health concerns, personal challenges, or life stressors. It is one of the most widely used forms of mental health care and can be applied to a broad range of conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and relationship difficulties.

Sessions are typically 45–60 minutes and take place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The therapist and client work collaboratively to identify goals, explore patterns of thought and behavior, and develop practical strategies for change.
