The University of Washington’s Center for Behavioral Health and Learning, located at 1550 North 115th Street in Seattle, Washington, is a state-of-the-art psychiatric facility that blends inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services within the UW Medical Center – Northwest campus. Opened in 2024, the 150-bed facility is designed to provide comprehensive mental health care through an integrated medical and psychiatric approach. The six-story center includes specialized units for adult civil commitments, geriatric psychiatry, and medical-psychiatric cases. In addition to 24/7 inpatient care, the facility offers neuromodulation treatments such as electroconvulsive therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation through the on-site Garvey Institute.

The center also serves as an academic and clinical training ground for future mental health professionals, offering interdisciplinary education in a real-world care setting. Outpatient programs on the campus include psychiatric consultations, individual and group therapy, family counseling, and a structured Intensive Outpatient Program for adults. With dedicated psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff, the facility is equipped to provide crisis intervention, ongoing medication management, and personalized treatment planning for individuals across the lifespan.
