Hospital-Based Behavioral Health & Psychiatric Unit
The University of Washington’s Center for Behavioral Health and Learning, located at 1550 North 115th Street in Seattle, Washington, is a state-of-the-art psychiatric facility that blends inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services within the UW Medical Center – Northwest campus. Opened in 2024, the 150-bed facility is designed to provide comprehensive mental health care through an integrated medical and psychiatric approach. The six-story center includes specialized units for adult civil commitments, geriatric psychiatry, and medical-psychiatric cases. In addition to 24/7 inpatient care, the facility offers neuromodulation treatments such as electroconvulsive therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation through the on-site Garvey Institute.
