Set on 90+ acres of pristine Ocala National Forest, The Refuge offers a serene and secluded environment designed to promote internal calm and long-term recovery. Their programs focus on trauma-informed care, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, addiction, and process addictions, ensuring each client receives personalized treatment in a safe and supportive setting. The Oak House, a dedicated 16-bed eating disorder program, provides an inclusive space for adults to receive specialized care for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, orthorexia, and body dysmorphic disorder.

The Refuge integrates a wide variety of therapeutic modalities including individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR, creative and experiential therapies, meditation, yoga, and nutritional counseling.
