Norfolk Regional Center

The Norfolk Regional Center, located at 1700 North Victory Road in Norfolk, Nebraska, is one of two state-operated psychiatric hospitals overseen by the Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services. Established in 1885, this historic facility provides specialized inpatient psychiatric treatment to adult men who are committed through the Mental Health Board. A major focus of the Norfolk Regional Center is the Nebraska Sex Offender Treatment Program, which was introduced in 2006. In addition, the center launched the Behavioral Health Medical Support Program in 2018, which offers integrated medical and nursing care for men with complex psychiatric, cognitive, and aging-related conditions.
