Newport Institute’s residential treatment center on Congress Street in Fairfield, Connecticut provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for young adult males ages 18 to 35 who are facing mental health and co-occurring substance use challenges. Set in a tranquil, scenic environment, the facility offers a safe and supportive space where clients can focus on recovery and personal growth.

At this location, treatment plans are tailored to meet the unique physical, psychological, social, and educational needs of each individual. The program addresses a range of conditions, including anxiety, OCD, depression, PTSD and trauma, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, eating disorders, and substance use disorders.

Therapeutic care includes psychiatric services, medication management, and a blend of clinical and experiential modalities. These may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment-Based Family Therapy, and Adventure Therapy. The goal is to address not only symptoms but the underlying trauma contributing to each client’s struggles.
