Metropolitan Center For Mental Health

The Metropolitan Center for Mental Health (MCMH) is a nonprofit mental health and substance use treatment center in New York City providing outpatient psychological and psychiatric services since 1962. Services include individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, group therapy, play therapy, psychotherapy, psychological testing, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management. Evening hours are available Monday through Friday.

Specialized programs include a Child and Adolescent Program, Hispanic Family Service with multilingual support, and the FAIR (Families and Individuals in Recovery) program for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. In-person and telehealth options are available. The center is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports.
