Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI) – Safety & Responsibility Outpatient Program in Philadelphia, PA offers specialized, evidence-based mental health services for adults and adolescents with a focus on promoting accountability, healing, and community safety. Through its Adult Safety & Responsibility Program, JJPI provides comprehensive treatment for individuals with a history of problematic sexual behavior or those who have engaged in relational violence toward intimate partners. The program includes individual, group, and family therapy, as well as psychiatric services, and works in close collaboration with probation and parole agencies. JJPI is certified by the Pennsylvania Sexual Offender Assessment Board (SOAB) to treat individuals designated as Sexually Violent Predators (SVPs).

The Youth Safety & Responsibility Program supports adolescents who have demonstrated harmful sexual behaviors, including youth involved with the juvenile justice system. With a strength-based, holistic approach, JJPI helps young participants build protective factors, reduce risk of recurrence, and lead safe, healthy lives. Services are available both in-person and via telehealth, with intake appointments conducted onsite. JJPI is recognized for its commitment to trauma-informed care and for fostering safer communities through individualized, restorative mental health treatment.
