Family Outreach Center

Family Outreach Center, located at 1939 Division Street, Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been dedicated since 1979 to building healthier families and providing high-quality behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families, with a particular focus on underserved and low-income communities. The center offers a wide range of outpatient services including individual therapy, family and couples therapy, group therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, school-based counseling, and children’s in-home services. Additional programs include prevention and education, substance use disorder treatment, recovery management, and jail mental health and diversion services.

The center specializes in supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, mood and behavioral disorders, trauma, serious emotional disturbances, co-occurring disorders, addiction, and gambling issues. Family Outreach Center employs evidence-based practices such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, family-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and community-based interventions.
