Daybreak Inc.

Daybreak Inc., located in Palmer, Alaska, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping adults achieve independence and live fulfilling lives in the Mat-Su Valley. Established in 1988, Daybreak provides comprehensive resource facilitation services for individuals with diagnosed mental illnesses, focusing on connecting clients with housing, employment, medical care, and other community resources. The organization emphasizes person-centered planning, ensuring each client’s recovery plan is tailored to their unique strengths, goals, and needs.

In addition to supporting adults with mental health diagnoses, Daybreak assists individuals who have sustained traumatic acquired brain injuries (TABI) and those transitioning back into the community after incarceration through the Valley Reentry Partners program. Their services are delivered directly in the community, allowing clients to receive one-on-one guidance and support as they engage with housing, employment, and medical providers.
