CT Renaissance – McAuliffe Center for Co-Occurring Disorders is a specialized residential treatment facility located at 70 Central Avenue in Waterbury, Connecticut. As a Level 3.7 Residential Enhanced program, the center provides intensive on-site clinical services for adult men experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions. Designed as both a hospital diversion and an effective step-down from inpatient hospitalization, the McAuliffe Center supports clients during periods of crisis, offering a structured, safe, and recovery-focused environment. Stays typically range from 30 to 45 days depending on medical necessity, allowing each individual adequate time to stabilize and begin working toward long-term wellness.
