Community Research Foundation Maria Sardinas Wellness Recovery Ctr

Maria Sardiñas Wellness Recovery Center is a community-based behavioral health facility located in the South San Diego/Nestor region. The center serves adults aged 18 and older who are experiencing serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. With a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally competent approach, the center emphasizes client collaboration and personalized goal-setting to foster long-term wellness.

Bilingual staff provide services in both English and Spanish, with a focus on supporting the Latinx community in the South San Diego region. Treatment services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, individual and group counseling, peer support, care coordination, mobile outreach, and crisis intervention. The center also assists with education and employment resources to promote holistic recovery.
