COMHAR’s Specialized Services program in Philadelphia provides outpatient behavioral health care tailored to individuals with complex needs, including those in the LGBTQIA+ community and people living with chronic health conditions such as HIV/AIDS. The program is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care and offers a safe, affirming space for individuals who have experienced trauma, sexual violence, abuse, discrimination, depression, or anxiety related to their health, gender identity, sexual orientation, or mental health.

Services include individual, partner, and family therapy, as well as psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management. The program collaborates closely with a network of health and social service providers to ensure comprehensive, continuous care. COMHAR’s Specialized Services welcomes all individuals who seek or support inclusive and affirming mental health care.
