Center for Discovery Austin

Center for Discovery Austin is a specialized outpatient eating disorder treatment center located in the heart of Austin, Texas. Opened in July 2018, this facility serves individuals of all genders, ages 10 and up, through intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. The Austin team is uniquely trained in addiction treatment, trauma-informed care, EMDR therapy, motivational interviewing, and multicultural counseling, ensuring a holistic and personalized approach to recovery.

The center’s evidence-based treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and exposure & response prevention (ERP). It also offers the Path to Peace binge eating disorder (BED) program and follows the CARE-CFD dietary model, which supports trauma-focused nutrition therapy and weight inclusivity. Center for Discovery Austin provides a compassionate, inclusive environment where clients can build a healthier relationship with food and experience long-lasting healing from eating disorders and co-occurring conditions.
