Ascent Healthcare Texas in Plano provides outpatient mental health treatment for adults, with a focus on trauma-informed care and structured support through its Intensive Outpatient Program. Its six-week Healing Ascent curriculum is designed to help individuals move from stabilization toward greater emotional safety, self-trust, and long-term resilience. The program incorporates somatic therapy, trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, radical acceptance, psychoeducation, medication management, and individual and group therapy. Care is paced around nervous system regulation and practical skill-building rather than requiring participants to repeatedly revisit traumatic experiences.
Treatment may address anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, panic disorder, grief and loss, emotional dysregulation, mood disorders, family conflict, and other stress- and trauma-related concerns. Therapeutic approaches may include acceptance and commitment therapy, CBT, DBT, interpersonal therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, relapse prevention, stress management, and trauma-focused CBT. Ascent Healthcare Texas also offers assessment, care coordination, psychotherapy, telehealth, and outpatient treatment, with an emphasis on helping adults strengthen boundaries, connection, coping skills, and relapse-prevention strategies. My child had an excellent experience here. We sent our kiddo five states away to be in this program after extensively interviewing other programs on the east half of the nation. They did wonders for our kid. Do not hesitate to send your child here. The therapy was tremendous and nutritional education and learning to plate and make decisions about food really helped. My kid still misses and talks about res. I think that says a lot! Thank you CFD! ❤️
