Center for Discovery

Center for Discovery Plano is a premier residential eating disorder treatment center located in a peaceful, estate-like home in the Willow Bend neighborhood of Plano, Texas. Designed for all genders ages 9 to 18, the facility offers a supportive and structured environment where adolescents receive individualized, evidence-based care. Since opening in 2015, Center for Discovery Plano has been committed to helping youth overcome eating disorders through comprehensive residential treatment.

The multidisciplinary team provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), as well as experiential therapies like yoga and mindful movement in an inviting outdoor space. The Plano location also supports patients’ academic needs with educational continuity during treatment. Utilizing the CARE-CFD dietary model—centered on trauma-focused nutrition therapy and weight inclusivity—the program addresses a full spectrum of eating disorders including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Orthorexia, and co-occurring conditions.
