Aroostook Mental Health Center

The Presque Isle Outpatient Center, located in Presque Isle, Maine, is a key facility within Aroostook Mental Health Center (AMHC), delivering a full continuum of outpatient behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults. The center offers personalized care through individual and group therapy, couples and family counseling, and integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Each individual receives a comprehensive, trauma-informed assessment to guide their care plan, ensuring services are tailored to their specific needs and goals. In addition to therapy, the Presque Isle location provides psychiatric medication management and participates in AMHC’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Student Assistance Program (SAP), offering confidential, short-term counseling and referrals to address work, personal, and school-related issues.
