The medication policy has changed multiple times since I’ve been a patient here and it still is not working properly. We’re supposed to call when we’re 3-5 days out from being out of our meds. Every time I’ve done this, I get an appointment that’s well after that 3-5 day window and have to get a bridge prescription, which is stressful, because I’m almost out of my meds and I have to rely on my psych seeing an email before the week is up to get controlled substances filled. Please, if you’re making a change, stick to it. If not, do it the old way considering you already are. Unreal that a place serving the neediest members of society plays so fast and loose with their medication services. This is many Medicaid patients’ only option. This system has literally never worked since it was instituted; I always wind up needing a bridge until my appointment. Fix it for the sake of less patient people than myself with less options.
