My daughter received a letter stating there was a data breach affecting her health information. The letter was signed by Kelsey Welgoss, Director of Clinical Services, Social Work and Compliance, and also signed by the Rural Outreach Center (ROC). In the letter, it states: “We would like to encourage you to take advantage of the no-cost monitoring being offered to protect your health information and identity. We feel privileged that you have trusted us with your care.” However, there is nothing in the letter explaining what the “no-cost monitoring” actually is, how it protects her health insurance information and identity, or how to enroll. When I called the ROC, I was told I needed to contact TriZetto Provider Solutions (TPS). I explained that there was a second sheet of paper included titled “Information Regarding the TriZetto Provider Solutions (TPS) Data Breach,” which describes what happened, what information was involved, and what TPS is doing — but it provides no contact information. Although the front desk person was apologetic, she had no answers and told me I would need to “Google TriZetto Provider Solutions” to find a contact number and figure out how to access the no-cost monitoring being offered. This is extremely frustrating. The letter offering the monitoring came from ROC — not TriZetto — yet there are no clear instructions, no enrollment details, and no direct contact information provided. I found trizetto on line and cannot get through. I am one very mad momma.
