Mental Health Providers in Orange, New Jersey

Untrained and Unprofessional staff. Counselors. are not attentive. The help there is very stoic and very clinical. They. Do. not care about the Clients. Breakfast is substandard human food. Same thing with lunch. It's an insurance cash grab. They care about the money that comes in through the insurances of the clients or patients. Most of the groups and activities there are redundant. and repetitious daily. The people there are uncomfortable with the way things are run. But they do not have any say so in changing anything. Even the transportation to pick clients up in the morning is awful they are rarely punctual and lie about their closeness to the clients home. It's a poorly run facility with poorly background checked employees in a rundown building which houses certain pests which travel to and from the program to individuals homes. Clients needs are rarely met.

This is my second time receiving care at family connections in a 7 year time frame. A safe place, one that genuinely cares about their clients. I’m already seeing progress within my self as well as my mental health because my clinician is AMAZING. If you’re willing to put the work into the exercises being taught, you instantly feel this weight lifted off of you. I’m grateful for my clinician and all of the efforts she’s putting into me 🙏🏼
