WLU SAVED my life! The medical, clinical and all other support staff made my detox and residential stay go as smooth as possible. The community of clients made it enjoyable. The food was Excellent! I appreciated the holistic approach which included psycho-education, small groups, 1:1 therapy (EMDR available), arts/games, yoga, meditation, reiki, case management, 12 steps meetings and Alumni support groups .You’re able to smoke/vape, wear street clothes and call family and support folks. I would definitely insist on WLU for family/friends/colleagues if ever needed! They helped me ACHIEVE sobriety, UNDERSTAND addiction and gave the SUPPORT needed to recover. They work on your continued care into a PHP. I owe my Creator (God) and WLU my life!!! Today I LIVE life FREE of alcohol and drugs.For BEST results be HONEST, WILLING and have an OPEN MIND! My daughter is 8 and she goes to the Lawrenceville location to see Mrs. Joan, her therapist. She’s been seeing her for a few weeks now and I can’t express how amazing Ms. Joan has been towards my little girl. Not only does my daughter absolutely adore her, but most importantly, she feels SAFE with her. She makes her feel comfortable and she gives her valuable mental tools to use when coping is needed which has helped a lot. I couldn’t have been luckier to have such an amazing and CARING therapist like Ms. Joan for my baby. She’s not easy to win and she won her over in just 2 weeks. I TOTALLY recommend this therapist.
