It keeper me sober . Thank you Hawaii Sober living.
I was homeless and addicted on the streets of Honolulu for more than a year and a half. I did not successfully complete the entire program. The tools that I had obtained at SITC has kept me sober since September 7, 2017. I now work and reside at the Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs West Virginia. I was deemed untreatble and was one of the worst cases that was reported. If I could tell SITC anything it would be thank you for the tough love and that miracles happen.

I loved this program, its not as easy as one might think,..on the contrary the living arrangements are very close quarters and for me I had a hard time bonding or being understood by&or with the other women, ive always been an extra extra out of the& anything but an ordinary person,... Im not of this earth & like running solo and with the lord. Im a unique&misunderstood by most people. If u apply what they teach u there at malama,..in your daily life, use the tools in your tool belt, take what u need from the meetings, put what u dont FEEL u need at the time into a seperate file in your subconscious mind,....because believe u me,..U WILL WANT & NEED IT LATER ON IN YOUR LIFE! Especially if u r young in age. Malama is wonderful,do what they tell u,come back on time from passes,... They r a privilege to not take advantage of!! & if u absolutely have to,or god is directing u in a route different from your pass,.... CALL IMMEDIATELY AND LET STAFF KNOW!! Be honest with yourself& in turn,...it will become natural for u to be will all. Dont steal,...jesus died on the cross for us for that. Make Ho`oponopono if u make a situation pilou, and just be kind, even to the ones u dont like,...most likely its in u what u dont like about them,..when pointing the finger at someone else,...3 r pointing back at u & your thumb to the lord our god.
Amazing clinic! Best on the island. Very particular on hiring and maintaining ratios and standards. Medically sound and data-driven practices and procedures. The best BCBA to RBT ratio in the state and the only clinic we know of that actively supports all to continue towards higher professional education, not just continuing credits. Clear communication from admin and program managers as well as from RBTs. Their methods produce results AND happy kids. Works with many insurances. We've seen steady progression over the years. This clinic was specifically recommended by a doctor who heads up a large hospital's regional program and we could see why within weeks. Excellent care! No Ka Oi is a true descriptor!
I had treatment at our Hawaii location this summer. There were a lot of worries and difficulties, but I think it was a good idea to give it a try. In terms of interaction, positive changes have gradually appeared, and new aspects sometimes appear after returning to Korea. There are still many problems to overcome, but I feel much more comfortable compared to before treatment. Even the slightest change can mean a lot to the child and family, so I recommend that you receive it with a sense of comfort rather than great expectations. I would like to thank Kyanna therapist again for always being kind and doing her best for us even though communication was not smooth :-)
I Highly Recommend this group of specialists. Each practitioner is skilled, friendly and patient. I had an excellent micro needling session with Jennifer Toy that brought compliments within days of having it. The intravenous vitamin/booster supplement from her really helped me feel on top of my energy levels that had been feeling low when i came in. I received a truly moving and emotionally shifting therapeutic K session with Nikki Miller. She made it extremely easy to feel comfortable and authentic while working through my anxiety and PTSD. It was an amazing. The center also offers other cosmetology treatments and Hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Ill be back.

Its with a heart full of gratitude, hope and appreciation that I write this post, as our daughter has just finished her time at PQ.

I recently saw Dr. Gavero for the first time. This is the first doctor I've seen regarding my mental health in 8 years and she is amazing!
I was actually Jp's patient years ago at another practice. As he ventured out with his services- I tracked him down!
Thank you very much for being there for me during court order for such a times of my served for Kauai island as United States of America.

My doctor, Dr Michael Rimm, changed my life. He gave me an exciting hope for the future in a world that doesn’t have much. When I started seeing him approximately 10 years ago, it was purely a location thing. I just needed a Dr to prescribed my meds who lived near me. I was expecting the obligatory 15 minute session so he could put on the books that he saw me. What I got? The complete opposite. Dr Rimm saw me and listened. He actually listened! And then he went to discover with me the root of my issues. He absolutely prescribes the meds when you need them but he also looks at what is happening in your actual life and makes connections to what happened in the past to potentially create your issues. He has made such a difference in my life. Yes the meds work and I take them but Dr Rimm goes above and beyond and doesn’t just treat symptoms and dismiss you until you need another script. He is amazing. He finds solutions. This practice? They have it all. I highly recommend Dr Rimm and Dr Galler-Rimm (I’ve worked with Dr Gabi Galler-Rimm also during treatments of “TMS” which is amazing. Check it out on their website). There are so many different avenues to help folks with mental health problems and these doctors travel down every single one to help their patients. They can help you no matter what is going on. My future is bright now thanks to this practice. Before them? I was consciously checking out. They saved me.
One of the best IOP treatments I have ever been too amazing support counseling and treatment. This place truly has saved my life more then once! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dr. James Spira is a wonderful practitioner, one that I can confidently recommend to any person. His calm, reassuring nature removes any trepidation to speak of difficult subjects, and he has experience working with individuals from all walks of life. I feel that this allows him to relate to me, in one way or another, on nearly every challenge I bring to the table. If I could give him 6 stars, I would. Best doctor I've ever known or was a patient of, in any capacity.

He is the best. He doesn't just give you the name of the disease or the diagnosis category. He doesn't talk about problems that he can't provide a solution to, and he gives you a report on the results of the test results in terms of scores (numbers).

Dawn Baxter exceeds all expectations as a Case Manager and exemplifies the root of North Shore's reason to exist: maximize services to clients. No one else comes close and no one else should be in this business. They nailed it.
I whole-heartedly applaud NAMI Hawaii. Some people criticize that most of NAMI funding comes from Pharmaceutical companies and that NAMI is better for families of people with mental illness. I speak from experience that NAMI Hawaii is kind and humane. I met with a NAMI Oahu Executive Director once a month, many years ago and it was a time of joy and healing. God bless you.
Love the work they’re doing. They’re saving lives!
