Not even 1 star. When I called to set up an appointment I didn't mention at the onset exactly why I would need an appointment, only that I would be a new patient. She was cordial at first then I told her I would be seeing the Dr for addiction services. She immediately said "we don't want anymore of you". I said " Oh, that law has been done away with, there's no longer limits to how many you can see" she said she don't follow me and without prompt sent me to the hold music. She left me there for a LONG time thinking I'd hang up. She came back and was irritated I was still there and wouldn't allow me to speak, she said " Im sending you somewhere else, STRAIGHT to voicemail. These people DO NOT CARE ABOUT EVEN PEOPLE THEY"VE NEVER MET. They don't deserve your business or your trust....WOW.

I traveled from NC for residential treatment for orthorexia and am honestly very disappointed. I heard great things about Alsana being good with orthorexia so wanted to try it. It was extremely subpar. There is an immense lack of support, it was almost shocking. For people with eating disorders who NEED encouragement and support and processing with meals, that was not done here. I verbalized that with my dietitian & the clinical director and they were able to individualize my treatment as much as they possibly could because I knew what works for me and what doesn’t from past treatment, but without me verbalizing it, I find it hard to imagine anyone being able to make meaningful and sustainable progress.

Needs more people to staff the call line. On weekends and hilolidays. I called during those times cus that's when I can't get a doctor other than the emergency room. Volunteers who answer crisis calls are mostly young college students providing services in exchange for education credits and most have very little real life experiences that can offer real peer compassion, or understanding. I know this for a fact since I took the volunteer classes but quit because I wanted to offer my time to a service that was about helping find solutions. I also wish they didn't give canned support. When most people are in a crisis situation they would appreciate feedback with optional solutions rather someone on the other line simply responding in a patronizing voice and manner because they really are waiting for their shift to be over. Crisis center should seriously consider getting wiser, lived experience volunteers who can actually relate to life situations that affect those who aren't mostly focused on getting college credits. Crisis center has the potential to be a great service to folks in need but they should restructure their program. Millinials who can't relate to pass due mortgage, raising teenagers as a single parent, domestic abuse in long term marriage,40 year trauma, and robbing Peter to pay Paul while living off of limited income are not who I want to talk to when I need someone to talk to at 3am on a Saturday because my anxiety won't let me sleep.

Therapists who contract with them offer nothing more than anecdotal advice that one could find in a self-help book. They contract with psychiatrists who aren’t even taking new patients at the time, and those who do are not booking for at least two months. The entire experience actually shed light on the inaccessibility of quality mental health care based on the restrictions from insurance companies. After trying twice to find a good therapist, I just didn’t have the energy to tell my story one more time, so I just gave up.

If I could give 0 starts i would. This place is a joke. Very unprofessional ism. They acted like they didn't want to help my child. They tried to give us meds we had already tried and did not help my son. They guy asking us questions looked like he hadn't had a bath in a week and acted like my son had leprosy. The real dr came in and his whole body was shaking like he was on drugs... don't go here

I had my first visit with the Therapist. I was there for 30 minutes to tell me all I needed was sleep. I came there for help with various issues that have occurred in my life and left with nothing. But they got $200.00 out of me for a 30 minute visit. Maybe they are good with children and adolescents, but not adults. I will be going somewhere else.
