Oakland Family Services

Oakland Family Services’ Day One program in Pontiac, Michigan provides comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder treatment for individuals and families across the lifespan. Services are delivered by master’s-level clinicians and psychiatric providers trained to address mild to moderate mental health conditions alongside substance use and co-occurring disorders. Through outpatient and intensive outpatient levels of care, Day One offers individualized treatment planning that includes therapy, psychiatric services, medication management, and coordinated support services in both in-person and virtual settings.

The program places a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care, recognizing the impact of abuse, violence, grief, and other traumatic experiences on mental health and recovery. Specialized programming is available for adolescents, women, and parents, including trauma-focused substance use treatment for women and family-inclusive services for youth experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges.
