Newport Academy

Newport Academy’s residential teen treatment center in Oakley, Utah provides evidence-based care for adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, and other mental health challenges. With individualized treatment plans that include teen therapy and family counseling, the program helps young people and their families move from crisis to lasting healing and connection.

Teens in Utah face some of the highest rates of depression and substance use in the nation, yet nearly half of those in need don't receive the care they deserve. Newport Academy is addressing this gap in adolescent mental healthcare by offering integrated, trauma-informed treatment that combines clinical therapy with family involvement and peer support in a structured, home-like setting.

Licensed clinicians utilize proven modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, and Attachment-Based Family Therapy to treat the root causes of each teen’s struggles.
