Lutheran Family and Children's Services (LFCS) of Missouri is a trusted behavioral health provider offering specialized mental health support for children, adolescents, and families across the Greater St. Louis region. Located in St. Louis County, LFCS provides free psychiatric services for youth ages 8–19, with licensed child and adolescent psychiatrists on staff who offer medication management and psychiatric evaluations for a range of mental health conditions including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
LFCS is deeply committed to improving youth mental health through school-based counseling at over 60 public and private schools. Their embedded counselors offer early intervention, individual therapy, and crisis support, addressing challenges such as trauma, grief and loss, self-harm, family conflict, bullying, and behavioral issues. Services are available at no cost in many areas, supported by grants.
Beyond individual treatment, LFCS offers family counseling to promote healthy relationships, communication, and emotional stability within the home.
