Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri, located in St. Louis, Missouri, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting mental health and early intervention for children, families, and students. Established in 1945 and affiliated with Mental Health America, the organization focuses on prevention, education, and supportive mental health services. The PEACE Clinical Program provides evidence-based interventions such as Attachment & Biobehavioral Catch-Up, Child Parent Psychotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Solutions Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, the Student Wellness Program offers school-based screenings, personalized referrals, and case management to address mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress symptoms, behavioral challenges, and attention-related difficulties. MHA-EM’s comprehensive and collaborative approach ensures children, adolescents, and families receive the support necessary to build resilience, self-esteem, and lifelong coping skills.
