The Oasis Program, part of the Kelly Norton Programs, is a 16-bed Intensive Residential Treatment Service (IRTS) located in a serene wooded setting at 6739 Golden Valley Road in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Designed for adults ages 18 and older who are navigating serious mental health challenges, this residential facility focuses on building recovery skills, promoting independent living, and providing stabilization support in a structured, therapeutic environment. Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Minnesota Department of Health, Oasis Program offers a secure and supervised setting that supports participants through daily therapeutic groups, medication management, and coordinated care services.
The program’s treatment approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, emphasizing dual diagnosis treatment for those facing both mental health and substance use disorders. In-house group sessions include illness management, stress reduction, life and social skills training, chemical health education, and health and wellness activities. I've been in treatment here for about 3 weeks. The vast majority of the clients actually want to be here. I look forward to going each day. Alumni drop in frequently to workout or just to say hi. Their approach to recovery is unlike any other program I have been to. Working out has definitely helped with my mental health and my attitude. The staff is also really great. Abby keeps the whole ship afloat and is super nice.
Great, staff and counselors. The owner is great, Brandon is great, Ben is great. And Lisa M is such a wonderful counselor and I can go to her for anything. I can go to any of the staff for anything I'm going through or for any problems and they will always be welcoming and kind. This place saved my life by helping me get sober! Highly recommend. Best methadone clinic and cleanest methadone clinic in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas!

Throughout the years, I have been to several locations for services through Canvas health and I love them all. I have been to the Oakdale office, Bloomington office, and I remember when they had a Brooklyn center office.
