Guidance Center of Lea County - Humphrey House

Guidance Center of Lea County – Humphrey House in Hobbs, New Mexico provides structured residential treatment and crisis stabilization services for youth experiencing homelessness, mental health emergencies, or significant life disruptions. The campus offers short-term shelter and crisis services designed to stabilize adolescents between the ages of 12 and 18 in a safe, supervised setting. With 24-hour adult supervision and therapeutic support, the program focuses on helping young people regain stability while addressing behavioral and emotional challenges.

In addition to crisis and residential care, Humphrey House offers Transitional Living for Young Adults (TLYA), providing independent and semi-independent housing with life skills training and care coordination to support successful transitions into adulthood. The campus also features an Autism Clinic delivering evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis services for young children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Through comprehensive screenings, medication management, behavioral health therapy, and positive youth development programming, the facility promotes long-term stability, independence, and community connection for youth and young adults.
