Gibault Children's Services

Gibault Children’s Services, located in Terre Haute, Indiana, has been providing life-changing care for children, adolescents, and young adults since 1921. Situated on a 360-acre campus, Gibault offers a range of residential and outpatient programs designed to meet the complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs of youth. Their programs emphasize family engagement, allowing caregivers to actively participate through family therapy, home visits, and treatment team meetings.

The facility features specialized programs such as the Autism Spectrum Behavioral Learning Environment (ABLE), the Child and Adolescent Residential Environment (CARE), and a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility/Private Secure unit (PRTF/PS). Gibault’s trauma-informed and holistic approach ensures that youth receive individualized care, combining individual, family, and group therapy with psychiatric support. Outpatient counseling services, including diagnostic and evaluation assessments, extend care to children and teens in the surrounding community.
